Our journey began with a lift to Port Macquarie Airport to catch the 10:10 Qantas flight to Sydney, amazingly had not been cancelled (unlike our previous booked flight) and was even on time.
But then a long, long wait for our 7:15 pm flight to Auckland, however we amused ourselves by wandering around the duty free store, amazed at what some people spend money on:

And eventually we got to bed at about 1:30 am Christchurch time
